Plan an e-Commerce implementation Strategies
Please collate all your work carried out in class; correctly formatted and presented. After a successful implemented project of promoting SILC’s through a static website.  SILC (leisure centre) would like to improve its website to allow B2B and B2C features and functionalities. The customers would also be able to create their registration online, make payments and make bookings through the website.  This will improve queues at the leisure centreand improve QoS.
Assignment Tasks
Task 1: Understand the impact of e-Commerce on business environment (LO1)
  1. Critically discuss the expectations of internet customers [P1.1, M2]
    1. Summarise the result of your investigation of SILC’s future needs for an e-Commerce Solution
    2. Create a feasibility report (as an evidence in Appendices)
    3. Discuss the CBA and the organisation’s and the customers’ expectations
  2. Critically assess the potential impact of common applications on an e-Commerce business [P1.2,  D1]
    1. Identify, describe, evaluate and reflect on critical issues of SILC having an e-Commerce website.
Task 2: Be able to plan an e-Commerce strategy (LO2)
  1. Plan an e-Commerce implementation strategy for an e-Commerce business [P2.1, M1, M3, D3 part 1]
    1. Create a proposal in a form of report where you have clearly identified the implementation strategy/plan, deliverables, issues of concerns, time, costs, maintenance, legal obligations/legislations,redundancies to meet SILC’s expectations
  2. Make reference to your feasibility report if you need to avoid duplication of work
Task 3: Be able to manage an e-Commerce strategy (LO3, D3 part 2)
  1. Critically assess the risks of linking business systems to the internet [P3.1]
  2. Explain the importance of protecting the intellectual property of an organisation                                                                                                                                     [P3.2]
  3. Critically discuss security measures to protect an e-Commerce solution [P3.3]
  4. Critically evaluate current e-Commerce developments and assess their incorporation into an e-Commerce strategy [P3.4]
